Exciting opportunity for a General Manager who has previously worked in a digital, creative or branding agency. He/she will work directly with the CEO whilst focusing on the day to day activities of the company to ensure productivity and profitability are top of mind.
➢ Manage all aspects of ongoing brand transformations, marketing,
installation, brand and Point of sale work.
➢ Building a senior relationship with clients and contribute to new business
➢ Lead and manage creative and client services teams.
➢ Lead the agency in delivering a successful full-service offering across
strategy, media planning, digital, print, social media, Public Relation, and
➢ Prepare and implement annual business plans and budgets.
➢ Oversee the management of all business operations and functions to ensure
the achievement of business plans and budgets.
➢ Prepare reports and forecasts as required.
➢ Collaborate, cooperate, and proactively contribute to ensuring the annual
business plan and budget is exceeded.
➢ Communicate performance expectations and support the team by building
required competencies, providing feedback, managing behaviors and
➢ Monitor individual and team performance and workload and take action to
address learning and development needs and performance issues.
➢ Actively participate in the Annual Performance Review process.
Skills & Experiences:
➢ Must possess a background that is creative and preferably has experience in
working for a digital, design, brand or advertising agency.
➢ Proven experience in driving successful teams including improving business
➢ Strong customer focus
➢ Strong knowledge of business practices and methodologies.
➢ Self-starter, autonomous, reliable
Competency and Skill Requirements
➢ Computer knowledge required (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
➢ Should have experience with Digital Marketing and Social Media platforms
➢ A relevant degree in advertising, mass communication or marketing
➢ should possess good organizational skills and ability to work effectively
within a team environment
➢ Superior business communication skills and excellent marketing and
➢ Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
➢ Must be willing to work beyond normal business hours on an as needed
Must possess the ability to work under time pressures/deadlines and multi-task
3 years of professional work experience in a related field, preferably in marketing
Bachelor’s degree required, any degree above is an added advantage
Educational background in management, marketing, communications, public
relations, journalism, advertising or related field of study
