The LINGO Forum is currently seeking to recruit a new LINGO Liaison. This role is designed for a highly self-motivated individual with experience in international NGO contexts, coordination, administration, and communication. The successful candidate can be either an international or national individual already residing in Liberia.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate monthly meetings of Country Directors of LINGO.
- Act as the primary contact for LINGO inquiries.
- Communicate with external entities including the United Nations, the Government of Liberia, and other INGOs/NGOs.
- Ensure internal communication within LINGO adheres to established guidelines.
- Oversee the eligibility and maintenance of membership criteria for INGOs.
- Manage daily LINGO operations including logistics and finances.
- Conduct internal assessments to gauge member needs and satisfaction.
- Facilitate the research, design, and implementation of LINGO activities.
- Chair Support Group meetings.
- Perform all duties in accordance with LINGO’s ToR and SOPs.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by the LINGO Coordinating Committee.
Essential Criteria:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Terms of Agreement:
- Service fee paid monthly for 30 hours of work per week.
- No accommodation provided.
- Responsibility for personal security, medical, evacuation, and travel insurance falls on the LL.
- Position open to those currently residing in Liberia.
