APCEIU, in collaboration with the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) and the GCED Youth Network, invites passionate youth leaders to apply for the 11th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED under the theme “Empowering Hearts, Building Peace: Harnessing Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) for Global Change.” Scheduled to take place from 14th to 17th April 2025 in New Delhi, India, this workshop aims to empower young leaders to drive meaningful change in their communities through GCED and SEL.
This year, 40 youth leaders from ODA recipient countries will be selected to participate in an intensive program featuring d iscussions, activities, networking opportunities, and action planning to explore how SEL and GCED can inspire collective action for peace and sustainability. Kindly be informed that only applicants from Official Development Assistance (ODA) recipient countries are eligible for application. (Please refer to the Annex in the Concept Note to check if your country is included.)
The Main Workshop will be held offline in New Delhi, India, and all costs, including accommodations, meals, local transportation, and round-trip international airfare to and from New Delhi, will be covered for selected participants.
