Are you a finance professional with a passion for managing accounting records and supporting financial operations? Bureau Veritas is seeking a qualified Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Monrovia. This role involves supervising daily accounting activities, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the Finance Manager with budget preparation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and tendering.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities and ensure efficient task completion.
- Monitor and control monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial activities.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, statutory payments, and approvals.
- Provide training and technical support to junior finance staff.
- Coordinate audits and manage statutory filings.
- Support inter-departmental projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Auditing, Business Administration, or related field (ACCA/CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a reputable organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, FLEX, SAP; knowledge of project-based management is a plus.
- English fluency required; French is an advantage.
