The Estella School of Excellence (THESE) is seeking a Communications and PR Officer Intern to join our team! This role offers a hands-on experience in public relations and communications, contributing to promoting our school’s mission of inspiring excellence and building character through education.
Position Objective:
The intern will oversee PR activities, manage school communications, and foster positive relationships with stakeholders, the media, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop internal and external communications strategies.
- Support pupil enrollment initiatives.
- Maintain media contacts and assist in coordinating press events.
- Engage potential donors and uphold the school’s image.
- Create promotional content for online platforms.
Requirements:
- Education: BA in Communications or currently pursuing a degree in Communications or a related field.
- Experience: Basic understanding of PR trends, media relations, and journalist interactions.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with social media platforms, strong organizational and time-management skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
Preferred Candidates:
Candidates residing in the Brewerville community will be given preference.
