About the Luminos Fund:
The Luminos Fund provides education programs for out-of-school children, helping them catch up to grade level and reintegrate into the education system. Luminos operates in Ethiopia, Ghana, Lebanon, Liberia, and The Gambia.
Job Overview:
The Program Manager will oversee Luminos’ foundational literacy and numeracy programs in Liberia, ensuring alignment with the Ministry of Education. This role involves government engagement, advocacy, and program management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Liberia Country Manager and Luminos’ global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Government Stakeholder Management: Develop relationships with key government education stakeholders, coordinate training, represent Luminos in meetings, and manage data presentation.
- Program Management: Lead project coordination, develop strategy and budgets, provide oversight, support junior staff, and ensure evidence-based program design.
- Events Management: Organize site visits, joint monitoring, and knowledge-sharing workshops with government officials and partners.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5+ years of non-profit experience, at least 1 year with government stakeholders, strong communication and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred: Experience in the education sector, familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools, proven success in people management.
