Job Summary:

The Farmington Hotel is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeping Executive to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, providing guests with a safe and clean environment. The role involves leading the housekeeping team, maintaining high standards, and managing the department budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management:
    • Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to meet financial and operational targets.
    • Ensure compliance with hotel standards and protocols.
    • Conduct regular inspections and address deficiencies.
  • Guest Satisfaction:
    • Evaluate guest satisfaction and implement improvement plans.
    • Develop proactive relationships with the Front Office to manage guest check-ins and departures.




  • Training & Development:
    • Provide staff training on health and safety, security, technical, and behavioral skills.
    • Conduct re-training as necessary.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Manage health and safety compliance and risk audits.
  • Coordination:
    • Work with the Maintenance Team to ensure the upkeep of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Communicate with Front Office Manager and General Manager regarding housekeeping needs.
  • Security:
    • Ensure compliance with HR procedures and handle guest security and lost property.
  • Administrative:
    • Utilize computer systems effectively.
    • Manage room audits and periodic cleaning tasks.

Requirements:

  • Higher diploma or equivalent from a Hospitality School.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation best practices.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • 2-5 years of senior-level housekeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
